General Questions @ Conference
The SDS2025 conference day (June 27, 2025) will be held at the Circle Convention Center, located at Zurich Airport, Switzerland. Venue, travel, and hotel information can be found here. The SDS workshop day (June 26, 2025) will take place at multiple locations. Some workshops will be held at The Circle Convention Center, while others will be in the City of Zürich.
The workshops and the conference will be held in English.
Free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the venue.

General Questions @ Workshops
The SDS2025 workshops will take place at multiple locations. Some workshops will be held at the Circle Convention Center, while others will be in the City of Zürich. The location of each workshop will be announced along with the workshop program.
You can register via the registration page and select the specific workshop during the registration process.

Some presentations will be available on our Website and our Youtube channel. The speakers decide if they want to make their videos available.
No, all speakers are required to attend the conference in person.
Each presentation is scheduled for 20 minutes, with an additional 5 minutes for questions.
You can change tracks between sessions at any point during the presentation. However, please keep in mind that it will take a few minutes to walk from one room to another. There will be a time slot between each presentation for a possible room change.
The poster session will last approximately 50 minutes. If any posters interest you, you will have the opportunity to meet the presenters in person and discuss their work directly. Once the program is published, please refer to the conference schedule for the designated poster discussion times.
Please bring a printed version of your poster to conference. The poster boards have dimensions of 1.5m width × 1.2m height. All material necessary for attaching the poster to the poster board is available at the registration desk. We recommend producing a poster in A0 size.
General questions @ Registration, Payment & Hybrid options
No, as a non-profit conference, we cannot offer financial support to attendees. However, we are offering reduced-price tickets for students and data innovation alliance members.
Registration and tickets will be available starting in April 2025.

No, we only accept credit card payments.
You will receive a purchasing confirmation and receipt via email directly after registration.
Please send us an email at conference@data-innovation.org after registering for the conference. We will send you a form to be filled in to issue you a visa invitation letter.
No, we regret to inform you that online participation is not possible.
Please note that only papers for which at least one author registers and attends the conference in person will be included in the SDS2025 IEEE proceedings. Failure to present the paper in person will result in removal from the publication.

Cancellation
While tickets are non-refundable, they are transferable to a colleague. If you would like to proceed with a transfer, kindly send an email to conference@data-innovation.org, providing your colleague’s name and email address. We will then prepare a name badge accordingly.

We use Talque as our conference app. You can download it like you would any other app from the google play store or the apple app store.
